
This is my grandfather. My mom’s dad. He’s been a son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, US Marine, Greyhound Busdriver and driven an 18-wheeler to support his family. He is as wise as his wrinkles make him look, as funny as his little smile and I happen to owe him everthing. He took care of me and my mom when she couldn’t take care of us all by herself. He’s been there in more ways for me than I think I even realize right now. I love you Pop…you’ve always been my hero.
